About
PGDay/MED was started in 2023 in order to bring the PostgreSQL community in or near the Mediterranean area together. It is being modeled on the success of Nordic PGDay and pgDay Paris and follows the same schedule and pattern.
We would like to thank PostgreSQL Europe and our past, as well as current, sponsors for supporting the conference and everything around it.
Organisation team
PGDay/MED is organised in cooperation with PostgreSQL Europe by the following people.
Volunteering
Would you like to be a part of the team arranging PGDay/MED? We are always happy for more people to join us, and are especially delighted to hear from community members who are new to conference organizing. If you've visited an event, you probably have an idea about the types of chores being performed, but just in case below is a non-exhaustive list of work being done:
- Marketing the event
- Program committee
- Registration desk
- Swag sales
- Room hosting
- Sponsor relations
Volunteering at a conference is a great way to get more involved in the community, and we'd be happy to have you. Please contact us for more information.
